Take a look at some of these cast drawings in our upcoming exhibition!
Join us February 16, 5–7 pm for the opening reception of 'Charcoal Visions: A Selection of Students Drawings from UAFS' and see these stunning works in person! First-year students majoring in Studio Art or Graphic Design take an intensive 16-week Drawing class to develop the ability to perceive and depict their surroundings as shapes and values. Their mastery of this process is tested at the end of the semester when they draw from the university’s collection of plaster casts. Alongside these drawings will also be four portrait drawings from advanced students.
Exhibition runs February 17 – May 19.
